The options listed under the System category of Settings allow you to look up detailed information about your SHIELD hardware and software in addition to enabling Developer options. To unlock the Developer options, tap on About SHIELD multiple times until the, "You are now a developer," message appears. Settings available under About SHIELD are:
> System updates
> Status
Tapping on System updates > Check now will check for software updates that are available to download. Updates normally appear automatically in your Notifications bar.
Tap on Status to check the battery status, charge level, IP address, Wi-Fi MAC address, and look up the Serial number of your SHIELD device.
